The saddlebags are packed, the equipment is ready, and the helmet is spick and span. Only one turn of the ignition key stands between the weekend tours with the motorbike. All the more annoying when the battery fails at this precise moment and the engine is not humming with anticipation of the trip. Motorcycle-riding hoteliers – that’s how the hosts of the “Motorradtourismus” cooperation call themselves. They got together eight years ago to combine their passion with effective marketing for their establishments. “We are thus able to generate about 40,000 booking days with motorcyclists,” explains Armin Loos, Managing Director of Motorradtourismus. “The participating hotels offer, for example, accompanied tours, expert contact persons and have also designed the facilities of their hotels and inns with biking customers in mind.” Through strong cooperation partners such as GS Yuasa Battery Germany, the aim is to further increase awareness.

On request, we organise an information afternoon at the hotel with one of our field service specialists. Here, participants learn everything important about the perfect battery for their motorbikes, optimal storage and care.”

For winding roads, the Hotel 5 Linden and the Kyffhäuser mountain route in the Harz Mountains are just the thing. For an exploratory tour through the Dolomites, the Niggl Easy Going Hotel is the optimal base.
